Rapanta Chrysi (Dr.)
Chrysi has a background in Educational Psychology and she currently holds a Phd in Communication sciences from the Università della Svizzera italiana with a thesis titled “Communication processes in eLearning design and development: an Interaction analysis approach”. More precisely, in her Phd research, she presented an original approach to analysing co-design meetings, in the domain of instructional design, that synthesises a broad range of existing research in psychology (cognitive ergonomics, collaborative problem-solving and learning) and in communication sciences (dialogue theory, dialogism, argumentation theory), and she systematically applied this method to an extensive corpus of design meetings. Her research interests can be summarized in: qualitative methodology, interaction analysis, argumentation, adult (collaborative) learning, team deliberation, and new methods to approach eLearning design and development.
Chrysi has collaborated with NewMineLab working for the Red-Ink (Rethinking Education in Knowledge Society) project.
