Tardini Stefano (Dr.)

After a degree in Classical Philology, in 2002 he got a Ph.D. in language sciences, with a thesis on the linguistic and semiotic features of virtual communities.
He is managing director of eLab (eLearning Lab) and researcher at NewMinE Lab.
His research interests include ICT mediated communication and eLearning, virtual communities and online social networks, cultural semiotics and argumentation theory.
Stefano is working on ICT4D, online communities, web 2.0, ICT mediated communication

Fanni Francesca (PhD student)

Francesca got her degree in Science of the Communication and holds a Master in Communication and Education at the University of Lugano in 2007.
Born in Magenta (Italy) in 1982, she has been living in Lugano since 2001. She is working at the NewMinE Lab as proposal writer and as research collaborator.
She is enrolled in a PhD program studing the impact of ICTs in teacher training in South Africa

Cantoni Lorenzo – NewMinE director (Prof.)

Lorenzo Cantoni graduated in Philosophy and holds a PhD in Education and Linguistics.
He is professor at the University of Lugano (Switzerland), Faculty of Communication Sciences, where he is also deputy-director of the Institute of Public Communication and Education. He’s vice-Dean of the Faculty.
Lorenzo Cantoni is director of the laboratories webatelier.net: production and promotion over the Internet, NewMinE Lab: New Media in Education Lab, eLab: eLearning Lab; he is executive director of TEC-Lab: Technology Enhanced Communication Lab.
